About Us

Genesis International Outreach Support Services – GIOSS was founded in May 2015, in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area of the United States of America, by Mrs. Yvette V Frazier as its founder.

Our passion is to empower underprivileged children to receive their breakthrough via quality education.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

As a mother of three, I realized how privileged my children are to live in a society where they have the resources to obtain the highest level of education in this competitive world.

I grew up in a middle-class family and did not experience the term “total poverty” but was not privileged to have “more than enough“. My curious mind always wondered what it would be like for a child to live in total poverty…or to have more than enough.

As I looked into the eyes of the poor children in Africa, I vowed to make an impact in the life of somebody and encourage my children to make a difference.

This GIOSS foundation is dedicated to my eldest son, who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 5. He is privileged to have more than enough food, shelter, and clothing but has not tasted the joy of experiencing life to its fullest in attaining the limitless educational achievements due to the limitation of his condition.
